Too many things on my mind

Most of you may be asking why hasn’t Shu-Yin been blogging? It has been almost 10 days since her last post. (unless no one reads this blog of mine! )

Well, I suddenly don’t have the mood to blog about the stuff I eat, the places I went to or even the people I have met. In fact, I tried many new places for food these 2 weeks but somehow I have no mood to blog about them.

There are too many things on my mind right now. And also these few days I feel very lazy. YES. L.A.Z.Y!
There are tons of things waiting for me to do which I haven’t done any yet. I still owe my boss lots of stuff and I am feeling bad about not having it done yet.

So i guess blogging have to wait, right?

I wanna go back to Blogger dee!

I’m fed up with wordpress. Yes, I know many of you will protest and say wordpress is much better. Maybe it is because mine is the free version. So I have many less features compared to yours.

Things I don’t Like About WordPress free version:

1. dont support javascript which means I cannot add most ‘fun functions’ I used to have such as:
         – Twitter
         – LibraryThings
         – Youtube

2. Cannot add Nuffnang ( also due to javascrip support issue) which means it is stopping me from earning big bucks!

3. I always have trouble when I upload more than 3 photos in my blog entry. The photos always disappeared after I clicked ‘Publish’. This happen many times!

4. I can’t seem to upload any videos into my blog entries properly. (did you notice that I have no videos in my blog since I changed to wordpress?)

And I refuse to pay for blog service. I mean, there are so many free blogging sites available, so why should I pay for one? And I am not doing business or whatsoever. This is just a personal blog. So I refuse to pay a single sen for it until I am forced to!

But one stupid thing abut blogger is that they dont have the ‘external blog import’ feature – which means that I can’t import my entries from wordpress to blogger. Sigh….
Nvm…i think I will still go back to blogger!

Super Fast ‘Chu Char’ @ Jetty

It was the fastest ‘chu char’ record I’ve ever experienced. After we found a table, mum & I walked over to choose our food and to order. In less than 5 minutes…yes…LESS THAN 5 MINUTES, the food were served…piping hot! The food came even faster than Peter, who went to find parking!

So where is this place? It is somewhere opposite the jetty. The ‘chu char’ coffee shop is unique as there is an old tree growing through the roof.

We ordered 5 simple dishes and they did not disappoint us. Although they served us so fast, it still taste so good. Unbelievable!
And they even serve us appetiser. My first experience in a coffee shop!

Total bill including 5 bowls of rice turned out to be RM45. Not bad for 5 dishes + 1 appetiser! :)

Flood in Penang Island

It rained heavily the whole of yesterday and the rain didn’t stop til mid-day today. Everywhere was wet. The lower ground areas were flooded.

Look at below flooded kampung house somewhere near Larut Road (behind KFC).

The Yeap Chor Ee Road was also flooded when we were driving past. Many cars came to a halt as the water levels was kinda high.
