The love of my life is non other than my husband Peter. Up til now I am still not so used to referring him as my husband. Maybe because we have been bf/gf for 6 yrs and thus it is difficult to suddenly address him as my husband and me his wife.
Anyway, we were together in year 2001, and after many, many ups and downs (mostly ups of coz!), we finally tied the knot in Dec 2006. However, our wedding reception wasn’t until a year later in Oct 2007 only then we are being recognized as husband and wife! *grins
Ok, let me get to the point. The main topic of this page is supposed to be dedicated to Peter.
Well, Peter is a kid in disguised. He loves junk food of all kinds – Cottage Fries, Pringles, Mister Potato, etc. But his favourite is Twisties tomato flavoured. He loves to watch cartoons. You will be amazed at the DVDs he owns. He watches Transformers, Justice League, Masked Rider, Doraemon, Iron Man, etc. ( I just learned that Masked Rider is Baja Hitam. Do you know that? )
But then Peter can also be an ‘Ah Pek’ in disguised. He combs his hair in a chinaman style. And he wears clothes like an ahpek when he goes to work. I complain that to him but then he said he likes it. He says it makes him look “more matured and sensible”.
I think Peter’s mind never sleeps. He is always thinking of some mathematical/financial problems even though he is quiet and seems to be staring out into space. In actual fact, his processor is working damn hard. Haha.
Actually, I like Peter because of these things. I like him being simplistic and I like smart people. And most of all, I love him because of the way he LOVES me. I can tell that he loves me to bits, in his own weird ways. No, he doesn’t buy me expensive gifts, nor does he gives me gifts for every Valentine. He just loves me in every way he can and I can feel it. ;D
